Join us Sunday, August 31 at 11:00 am as we welcome Rev. Daybree Thoms present her lesson, “The Life-Affirming Power of Will.” Unity is blessed with countless spiritual tools for exploration and the deepening of our spiritual lives. The Power of Will, combined with the Powers of Strength and Zeal, guided by the Powers of Love, Wisdom (Right Judgement) and Understanding, guide us in applying our 5th of the Five Basic Unity Principles – I Act. We must live the Truth that we know. We must take action. The 5th Unity Principle states, “Through thoughts, words, and actions, we live the Truth we know.” The children’s version is simply “I Act”. The Power of Will supports us in this endeavor as we each, through our own unique gifts, skills, and personalities, bless our world and those around us. 

Daybree Garland Thoms is a licensed and ordained Unity minister and has served as Senior Minister at Unity communities in Key West, Florida and Wichita, Kansas. Daybree enjoys guest speaking often at Unity of Little Rock as well as for various Unity churches. Daybree has also recently joined the staff at Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute and will begin teaching this Fall. Unity of the Keys holds a special place in Daybree’s heart and it is her joy to re-connect with this community.

Currently Daybree and her husband, Denny, are enjoying life in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
