Join us Sunday, September 20 at 11:00 am as Guest Speakers, Sherry Read and Larry Nolt present their lesson, “Shaping Peace Together.” Recognizing that the world observes International Day of Peace on September 21, Sherry and Larry will focus on Unity’s beliefs’ about the power of PEACE as well as take an historical look at recognized Peace Churches:  Mennonite, Brethren and Quaker.

Sherry Read has been a member of Unity of the Keys for 25 years.  She has served on the Unity Board multiple times and on the Ministerial Search Team twice. She retired from a 45 year career in social work in Key West and currently serves on the boards of the Westcare  Guidance/Care Center and the Monroe Association for ReMARCable Citizens.

Larry Nolt is a retired banker with a graduate degree in business, finance and marketing.  He served as a VP for Advancement with a private Virginia university, a trust officer at several regional banks and president of an investment firm in Pa. He is a sixth generation Anabaptist from Switzerland and has held positions of Elder, board member and treasurer for several congregations. He is currently volunteering with several local non-profits and serves on the Unity Finance Team.
