On February 4th, Rev. Randy Becker was our guest speaker.
His lesson was “Non-competitve Spirituality”
Ever have someone recommend a restaurant to you? Usually there are two types of recommendations: either it is a global one that a certain restaurant is superb or it is that you “simply must plan to order” a certain dish without any regard for your taste or dislikes or even allergies. Restaurants and spirituality are not really that dissimilar when it comes to recommendations. One person’s five star is another person’s one star, but all have to eat.
Randy Becker is a retired Unitarian Universalist minister, a spiritual medium, a local political candidate, and a social activist. Among his other interests are cooking, classical music, and railroading.
