Living in the Heart of God
From singer/songwriters Jan Garrett and J.D. Martin, “Nothing is ever lost. And we are not forgotten. We are living in the heart of God.” Living in the Heart of God. Ahhhhh….. The very sound of these words are calming, soothing, to our souls. Living in the Heart of God. What might that look like? Feel like? What does that expression mean to me?
This Sunday we explore together the “heart of God”, drawing from scripture, from the example of Unity founders Myrtle and Charles Fillmore, and from our own experiences. We will consider how our individual and collective commitment to living in and from the heart of God can be reflected in not only in what we do and say, but who we are.
Living in the heart of God is not a respite from the world. It is a commitment to hold our world from a different perspective, from the very essence of Spirit. Join us as we consider our own personal covenants. There is work to be done, love-work, and Unity is up to the task!
