Our mission is to improve and empower the human experience within the congregation and in the community-at-large through social action programs.
Under the guidance of Reverend Daybree Thoms, members of this team meet to plan and implement various projects throughout the year that provide our community with spiritual, intellectual, and physical relief, support, and growth.
Habitat for Humanity, Cooking with Love, Plogging the Keys, Meals on Wheels, local soup kitchens, and Hospice of the Lower Keys are just a few examples of local non-profits that use the assistance of our Unity Team.
Volunteers on this team have the satisfaction of making a direct and immediate difference in the lives of many people in our community. At the same time, they make new connections and friendships with other agencies and Church organizations here in Key West.
Almost all of our congregants volunteer for this ministry from time to time.
