GLAAD reports that 75% of all religious messages in mainstream media are from anti-LGBTQ sources. Religious-based bias is the #1 reason families reject their LGBTQ children. If rejected by their families, LGBTQ youth are 8.4x more likely to attempt suicide. LGBTQ people of all ages, especially queer youth and their parents, need to hear that there are welcoming faith communities all around them.
