Pathways & Crossroads Workshop with Katharine Doughty
Navigating Self and Environment-Expressive Arts in Community Life
Sunday, May 28th from 1 to 3 pm – After Sunday Service
This workshop will offer tools and resources for understanding ourselves and our communities from physical, emotional, and mental/spiritual perspectives.
We will utilize drawing, movement, writing, and creative dialogue to embody our experiences and identify challenges, resources, needs, and wants.
All bodies of any philosophy/tradition are welcome.
Absolutely no prior arts or movement experience is needed.
Bring a journal/drawing pad/drawing materials or use provided.
In-person workshop at Unity of the Keys, 1011 Virginia St.
Suggested Love offering of $25 which includes supplies, but no one is turned away.
ABOUT KATHERINE DOUGHTY…
Katharine Doughty is an artist and somatic practitioner for 35 years including chi gong, massage therapy, post-modern dance, meditation, science, and spirituality. Having a long relationship with her own creativity and healing processes and the multimodal approach to both, she is honored to guide and witness others. She is a certified Tamalpa practitioner trained by field pioneers Anna and Daria Halprin and ISMETA registered somatic-based expressive arts educator and therapist. Offerings are not a substitute for medical or behavioral health attention.
