This class is open to the public and offerers simple methods to develop inner peace and happiness using meditation and mindfulness practices from the Kadampa Buddhist tradition. The class starts with a 15-20 minute guided breathing meditation to relax the mind and experience inner peace.There there will be a talk based on Buddhist teachings related to different spiritual topics such as how to develop our inner peace, how to improve our love and compassion for others and how to increase our patience and wisdom. After the talk, there will be another 15-20 minute guided meditation based on the topic of the talk. The calss will conclude with a time for Q&A.
